Defender Stephen Hollis doubled the lead, finding the net off a well-executed set piece. The defense remained impenetrable, marking the first of three consecutive shutouts.

Match 2: NY Empire FC 4-0 Inter Nona SC
NY Empire FC continued their dominant form against Inter Nona SC, a strong UPSL team from Orlando, Florida. The attack was in full force, securing a 4-0 victory. Emgi Gousse led the charge with a brace, while Naeem Charles and Mason Chetti also added their names to the scoresheet. The midfield and defensive lines ensured a second consecutive clean sheet, highlighting the team's balance on both ends of the pitch.

Match 3: NY Empire FC 6-0 FC Beast
In their final preseason test, NY Empire FC put on a clinic against Division 2 UPSL team FC Beast, delivering a resounding 6-0 triumph. Midfielder Dru Yearwood led the scoring with two goals, while Stephen Hollis, Steven Rojas, Joe Bamfo, and Nico Reinoso each contributed a goal. Once again, the defensive unit and goalkeepers Giuseppe Vitale and Jonathan Villaces remained flawless, securing their third straight shutout.

Key Players and Team Strengths
A major component of NY Empire FC’s success has been their airtight defense, anchored by standout performances from defenders Kendall Thomas and Trevor Henderson. Goalkeepers Vitale and Villaces have split minutes and played pivotal roles in preserving the clean sheets.
The midfield core, featuring Steven Rojas, Sebastian Monroy, Danny Moya, and Wilber Gomez, has been instrumental in dictating play and linking defense with attack. Newly acquired forwards Mason Chetti and Naeem Charles have proven to be constant threats in the final third, making an immediate impact with crucial goals and assists.

Coach’s Perspective & Season Opener
Head Coach Max Ferro expressed excitement over the team's strong preseason performance but emphasized that there is still much work to be done before the official season opener.
"I'm proud of the effort and chemistry we've built in these three matches," said Ferro. "We’ve shown resilience, discipline, and attacking prowess, but we need to maintain our focus as we head into the regular season. There’s always room for improvement."

NY Empire FC will kick off their competitive season on April 5th against Future Soccer Academy. With momentum on their side and a highly anticipated crowd expected, the team is eager to translate their preseason success into a strong start to the campaign.
